Vibrant,bold, beautiful

It is always exciting and fun when it comes to planning for one’s wedding. But along with the excitement comes the mind-boggling task of making a decision on the endless things like venue, deco, wedding flowers, guests list, just to name a few.
My experience with the brides I work with has given me much fulfillment as each of them come with different views and expectations. Undeniably, flowers add a burst of colour and vibrance to every wedding, one of the most significant being the bridal bouquet. Every bride’s bouquet is unique. From flamboyance to elegance, bold to demure, it reflects the bride’s individual style. Modern brides are very fortunate nowadays with the increasingly larger choices of flowers available in the market. For example, long -stemmed flowers like calla lilies in sheath bouquets for sophistication and elegance; roses for the romantic. Then, there are blooms that complement each other in size and texture like ranunculus, eustomas and peonies.
In the end, the big question still arises ‘to indulge or not to indulge’. My answer: If it’s not jaw-droppingly expensive and have your budget bursting at their seams, go ahead ! It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Look for a professional florist who is creative and have the time to sit down and discuss with you your preferences and work within your budget. Make sure she understands your ideas and you are confident that you can trust her to come up with your ideal wedding bouquet !

Sweet sweet Lavender !

The bridal arch - a gateway to 'a new beginning'. A symbol of closeness and unity as the couple join hands and exchange vows beneath; an exquisite frame for the married couple !

Bridal beauty

One of my favourties, the 'Calla lilies'. Calla originates from the
Greek word 'kallos' which means 'beauty'. It just oozes a sense of sophistication and elegance. This, coupled with the fact that white callas symbolizes purity and innocence makes it a perfect choice for a bridal bouquet.
